Waterfall - Kmeťov vodopád
Hike to the highest waterfall in Slovakia in a beautiful forest environment
Kmet'ov vodopádis one of the less known waterfalls in the Tatra Mountains, but nevertheless, this waterfall is something special - it is the highest in Slovakia. It reaches a height of up to 80 metres and is named after the prominent nationalist and botanist Andrej Kmet'o. You can visit the waterfall while crossing the Kôprova dolina, which can be reached from Troch Studnice (about 5km) or Podbanský (about 7km).
EXTRA TIP: On the left bank of the "Nefcerka" stream, which is also located in the Kôprovská valley, there is a viewing platform where you have a beautiful view of the Kmet's waterfall.
