The starting point of the hike is at Štrbské Pleso on the year-round accessible trail. The blue hiking trail starts on the northern bank of Štrbské Pleso, where it gradually rises steeper up to the level of the ski jump bridges. From there it continues in a gentler climb directly to the Chata pod Soliskom, the ascent takes about 1:30 hours. 

 

At the hut you can refresh yourself all year round, replenish your strength and then go directly to the top, which takes another 30-40 minutes. However, if you want to get to the top as quickly as possible, there is also a 4-chair lift from Štrbské Pleso to Solisko. The ride takes less than 7 minutes.
