After a day spent in the mountain environment of the High Tatras, there is nothing better than to fortify yourself with a great home-cooked meal. Summer in the mountains promises not only beautiful views of the Tatra panorama, but also gastronomic experiences.

It is in Stary Smokovec that you will find the cosy Koliba Kamzík with its authentic folk design and rich cuisine, which offers not only exceptional dishes, but also handmade products. The unique attraction of Koliba Kamzík is their own bakery, where fresh pastries, steamed buns, gnocchi or pierogi are made. Thisapproach to the prepared food guarantees unmistakable quality and an authentic taste experience. 

Our home bakery in Koliba Kamzík is fully loaded throughout the year. For example, the production of our homemade pierogi in total exceeded 164 000 pieces in one year. Yes, that's right! In one year we produce over 6 tons of our homemade pierogi with sweet and savoury fillings.

In the year 2023, we produced 28 844 pieces of duck pierogi at Koliba Kamzík, which is a total of 1 298 kg. Our popular meat pies up to 71 733 pieces, making a total of 3 228 kg. Our sweet plum and poppy seed pierogi produced 64 000 pieces, making a total of up to 1 600 kg. If you are familiar with our delicious dumplings with smoked meat, we produced a total of 5 200 dumplings last year, which amounts to 1 300 kg
